Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Otsuka) and Transcend Therapeutics, Inc. (Transcend) announce that the two companies entered into an agreement today, under which Otsuka, through its wholly owned subsidiary Otsuka America, Inc., will fully acquire Transcend.
